Located only 5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, this golf course offers a pleasant 18 holes in the rolling hill country of East Tennessee. Here, vacationers will find a year-round course with a clubhouse and pro shop. The course underwent significant renovations in 2007 and is now better than ever. This quality municipal course offers a well designed layout with some especially fun shots.
The front 9 of this course offers a good warm up, while the back 9 of the Gatlinburg Golf Course offers some more technical challenges. The course can be narrow at times and there are a few blind shots. All the same, these challenges call for the careful consideration required of a strategic golf game. Designed by Gary Player in 1972, this par 72 course provides a quality game of golf in relaxing scenery. A pleasant mountain stream meanders through much of the property and is a great addition to this charming valley. The course is situated in the rolling foothills of East Tennessee and features impressive Smoky Mountain views. Bent Creek has earned the distinction of being one of the "Top Fifty" courses in the Southeast according to Southern Living. Complete with a pro shop and dining services, it's easy to enjoy a comfortable day at Bent Creek.
The first 9 holes of this course are huge a relatively flat valley. With gentle slopes and long greens, these are a pleasure to play. This warm up will be appreciated, since the back 9 offers steeper shots and tougher angles. All and all, golfers will appreciate the relaxing scenery and unique challenges of this Smoky Mountain golf course.
